Please join the Amabilis Singers as we celebrate the beauty of the season with our spring concert on May 4th, 2024.

With the spring comes the opening of a new path filled with light, colour and emotion. Amabilis invites you to walk the path with us and more. Sail on the waters, fly in the air, and keep the fire of passion ablaze. In this heady mix of old and new, you will hear William Byrd’s joyful Renaissance music reset with fresh harmonies and Ojibway words in Ambe Anishinaabeg. Soar with us in Ěriks Ešenvald’s ethereal O Hostia Salutaris. Feel the jubilant rush of power in Ko Matsushita’s thrilling Jubilate Deo. Explore the sound of a feeling that is Oliassa, by Montreal-based composer Malika Tirolien.

Mark the date! The Amabilis Singers are looking forward to performing for you at Glow, this year’s ever-popular winter concert, full of the warmth and music of the season. We hope to see you there.

Joining Amabilis on December 8th is the St. Thomas More Collegiate Chamber Singers, directed by Johnson Lui. On December 9th, we welcome the Burnaby Central Chamber Choir, directed by Carrie Taylor.
