INGRID VERSEVELDT, Pianist

Ingrid Renee Verseveldt received her M. Mus. (Piano Performance) from the University of Victoria, where she studied with Bruce Vogt. With a keen desire to learn and grow as a musician, Ingrid has participated in Masterclasses and courses with inspiring artists such as Gyorgy Sebok (Banff School of Fine Arts), Paul Badura–Skoda, and Rena Sharon (Vancouver International Song Institute), as well as regularly taking part in local workshops. The desire to share her love of music with her local community has led Ingrid to collaborate with many community, school, and church choirs, including Vivo Children’s Choir, of which she is a co-founder, the Amabilis Singers, Chor Leoni’s MYVoice Program, the BCMEA Honour Choir, and many schools in the Lower Mainland. Ingrid also accompanies young musicians in many local festivals and RCM Exams. An active chamber musician, Ingrid is also a Registered Music Teacher in Burnaby, where she lives and has maintained her studio since 1993.
