INGRID VERSEVELDT, Pianist
Ingrid Renee Verseveldt received her M. Mus. (Piano Performance) from the University of Victoria, where she studied with Bruce Vogt. With a keen desire to learn and grow as a musician, Ingrid has participated in Masterclasses and courses with inspiring artists such as Gyorgy Sebok (Banff School of Fine Arts), Paul Badura–Skoda, Damjana Bratuz and Rena Sharon (Vancouver International Song Institute), as well as regularly taking part in local workshops. The desire to share her love of music with her local community has led Ingrid to collaborate with many choirs and musicians in the Vancouver area. Examples of local choirs included Vivo Children’s Choir, of which she is a co-founder, the BCMEA Honour Choir, many school choirs, and Chor Leoni’s MYVoice Program. Ingrid is also a Music Teacher in Burnaby, where she lives and has maintained her studio since 1993. She has been the accompanist for the Amabilis Singers since 2002.
